The Pantry PBC started as Micro Kitchen Specialists in 2019 as a food brokerage selling coffee, snacks and beverages to tech campuses and food program management companies. In 2023, after witnessing a flaw in industry vetting, Joshua created a vetting process for vendors that runs on a triple bottom line; people, planet and profitability.
This 5 point system ranks vendors on traceability, sustainability, ethics, profitability and scalability before The Pantry PBC will represent them. Adding a layer of pre-vetting that tech campuses have not seen. Until Now! Forming as a Public Benefit Corporation to cement this process within our business model, was an organic decision.
